the desired actions for the 2015 versions will be as follows:
- Get your MR/core team trained against the requirements of the 2015 version.
- Get the Manual if needed /procedures and other documents revised as per the 9001:2015 requirements
- The key areas of attention for the standards will be as follows:
Note 1:-If the clients of 9001-14001/2015 are not upgraded before the due dates: the certificates will be cancelled And the certification process will be started as new/initial case.
Note 2:-Further, SIS cannot issue or use the IAS/IOAS and any other AB logo on these older ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates after September 2018.We request that all IAS/ IOAS certified clients complete the transition by September 2018.
A) 9001: 2015 versions are
Risk based thinking and process approach, Context of organization, leadership requirements, interested parties, define boundaries of your QMS, greater emphasis on achieving desired outcome to improve customer satisfaction, manual not a mandatory requirement and MR’s responsibility handled by top Management and less emphasis on documentation.
B) 14001:2015 versions are:
Strategic environmental management, leadership,Protection of environment, environmental performance, life cycle thinking, context of organization.scope, compliance obligation, documentation changes and alignment with 9001 standard, Manual not a mandatory requirement and MR’s responsibility handled by top Management and less emphasis on documentation
Therefore you need to get yourself certified accordingly.
And if you are opting for 9001:2008/14001:2004 versions then the transition plan will be like:
Re-certification to 2015 version either during 1st/2nd surveillance or at the time of certification.
And your existing surveillance audits against the 9001:2008/14001:2004 will continue without any effect of the revised standard till you get re-certified against the 2015 version.
